Cutting: If your reading this right now
the only reason we wrote this sentence is to
let you know, we care about you! If you have
been cutting, maybe before you leave this page
you will have hope that it will end today!
Cutting is just a symptom of a deeper problem
that is happening in your life, we do not
condemn you or judge your actions but desire
that you will understand that a choice must
be made, if you want to stop cuting yourself.
The first and only choice to be made is to admit that you need help, that's enough for today. If you are at the place where you can recognize that you are powerless over cutting and that your life has become unmanageable because of cutting( it seems to control your thoughts and actions) then you are ready to make some changes. The thing is, we don't have power over people or how they treat us, but we do have some power over how we treat ourselves. Try this, to the left is a prayer request box, what you enter will be between you , God and your prayer partner. You can say it in your own words but some how say " I have a problem with cutting, please pray for me". We will begin to pray and continue to believe that that you will have the power to overcome. You may also consider just asking God to take away the desire to cut yourself, that prayer can be just between you and him. If you don't believe in God then ask him to help you with your unbelief. Now Thats enough for today. Make a decision to not cut yourself just for today, do what ever it takes to avoid cutting, just for today.The best way to stop cutting is to do it one day at a time.
